Active Merchandising
Melcosa Vietnam practices what the Company calls “active merchandising” whereby merchandisers pro-actively identify the latest trends and fashions, source new fabrics and accessories, and show customers what the market is capable of supplying using digital photographs and samples. Merchandisers also help prepare the buying trips of customers, scheduling supplier visits and coordinating travel and hotel bookings.
Before an order is placed, our Merchandisers are pro-actively sourcing new materials, fashions and trends. Active Merchandising for us means showing our customers continuously what this market is capable of. In order to give a high service standard, advanced Information-Technology support is used. Our merchandisers are monitoring each step of the process chain until the products are finished. By this continuous careful tracking we are ensuring on-time delivery, thus customer satisfaction.
After negotiating quality, price and quantities, orders are confirmed and Melcosa’s merchandisers subsequently monitor the pre-production and sampling process.
